A brief Introduction:
The trip will take you to the trekking peak in the Shigar Valley. The name Khosar Gang in the Balti language means Ice Pumpkin. The glacier feeds the part of Shigar Valley situated on the left bank of the Braldu River. Many supernatural myths and fairy tales are associated with the peaks of the local people. Technically it is an easy climb. However, crossing the ice which is mixed with little rocks presents intermediate difficulties. The ideal time for the expedition is July to August which can be extended up to mid-September depending on weather conditions.

Questions about this trip
This is graded extreme. It is a full mountaineering objective — we ask about your climbing history and previous altitude experience before confirming a place. If you tell us your recent hill days we will give you an honest answer.
The reliable window is June – September. Outside that, conditions on the route make it either unsafe or not worth the money. We can run private departures on any dates inside that window.
2 – 8 climbers. Smaller and private groups are available and often cost less per head than you would expect — ask us for a quote on your own dates.
Because the honest number depends on group size, dates, hotel standard and how much of the route you cover. We quote one all-in figure for your actual group rather than a headline price that grows later.
